Robertson is the Executive Director for Domestic
Violence Solutions for Santa Barbara County, formerly
Shelter Services for Women. Ms. Robertson has
over 20 years experience in human services work and in
administration of non-profit organizations. She
holds an MS in Administration and an MS in Clinical
Psychology. She began her career as a teacher, then
a high school principal. When Ms. Robertson left
education, she was Executive Director of a residential
treatment center for abused children and the Chief
Operating Officer for Catholic Charities in the tri-county
area of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin. Ms.
Robertson has worked in the field of domestic violence
since 1993, one year of which was as Executive Director
for Anger Management Counseling Services in Santa Barbara
County, an agency specializing in the treatment of
perpetrators of domestic violence and whose services have
now been incorporated into the work of Domestic
Violence Solutions for Santa Barbara County. |
