In Santa Barbara County, all people will take personal responsibility in promoting zero tolerance for domestic violence within their interpersonal relationships, families, and in the community at large. Community beliefs and attitudes that support domestic violence will be changed and all people will see themselves as part of the solution. Domestic violence will be replaced by respect and equality for one another. Dignity and hope will be restored to all those affected by domestic violence so that they are empowered to maximize the potential of their lives.
Domestic Violence Solutions for Santa Barbara County works to end the intergenerational cycle of domestic violence by providing prevention and intervention services and by challenging society’s attitudes, beliefs and behaviors to effect social change.
Great causes are successful because of impassioned people who share beliefs and values. As a united team, the DVS Staff, Board members, Volunteers and Advocates are a force to be reckoned with in our battle against abuse.
